Since I don't have class on Wednesday I usually wake up late, skip breakfast, quickly get ready and head to lunch with my mom. Today we went to this cafe nearby called Galaxy Cafe. We love locally owned places and this is quickly becoming my new favorite. I ordered a chicken sandwich with mozzarella, bacon and avocado, and anytime sweet potato fries are on the menu it is guaranteed that I will order them. Mom had a chicken salad sandwich with pesto pasta. Everything was so fresh and tasted great.
We then drove around town for a couple of hours blasting Temples music until we found a local coffee shop called Trianon Coffee. I ordered a latte and to be honest it was the best one I've had. The place was packed and comfortable without the pretentious hipster vibes that some coffee places give off. I would for sure go back.
I love chill days like these right around mid-week were you begin to desperately wish for the weekend. Its a nice refresher day and helps me muster up the energy to move forward with the remaining days of the week. I woke up to grey and gloomy skies so it just added to the calm mood and laid back day that proceeded. It was a good one.
