HEAD FULL OF SONGS

Some days are just meant to be spent doing nothing but discovering new music and moving to old favorites. These past few days I've been busy showing off the sights and sounds of Austin to family from California. Today it felt good to stay in pajamas all day, to not have to be anywhere or see anyone, and it especially felt even better to avoid stepping out into the beaming Texas sun. Without a trace of make up on my face and my hair now going on it's third day- just me and my music was all I needed. and here are a list of some of the tunes that filled my day.

Pretty Girl From Michigan- The Avett Brothers- actually all songs on The Carpenter by The Avett Brothers | Big Black Car- Gregory Alan Isakov | Virginia May- Gregory Alan Isakov | Step- Vampire Weekend | Heavy feet- Local Natives | The Will to Death- John Frusciante | Safe and Sound- Capital Cities | Kangaroo Court- Capital Cities | Don't Swallow the Cap- The National | Miss Atomic Bomb- The Killers | Entertainment- Phoenix | Wagon Wheel- Old Crow Medicine Show | The East Street Shuffle- Bruce Springsteen | Wet Sand- Red Hot Chili Peppers | Summertime Sadness- Lana Del Ray
