So I typically only buy shoes as I need them. Often times I wear down a pair so much that I am forced to buy new ones and then proceed to do the same thing all over again. I'm just a creature of habit. I stick to what I love and just wear the same things again and again. But I recently decided that its probably best that I don't show up in the same shoes everyday. So I've made a conscious effort to try to switch things up. To be honest I haven't been that successful I still find myself going for the same pair most of the time, which are my Sam Edelman boots (pictured above). But with that said, I still LOVE all my new shoes! I even bought some that I talked about in a shoe wishlist post from a few weeks ago. They are all very much my style in probably every possible way. I have a specific type of shoe that I love and I don't really diverge far from this style. I like ankle boots, with a side zipper, a bit of a heel-but not too high, minimal detail and either black or tan. and since I don't wear open-toed shoes that often I'm looking forward to wearing these well into spring and summer. I just need to stop being boring! and wear them all more often. Also I may or may not be thinking of getting black Birkenstocks...urghh I'm getting sucked in by the hype! Stop it.
